Spaghetti Dinner Sept. 19
If you enjoy a great Italian meal, please join us for a full-course Spaghetti Dinner to benefit the Hugh Giordano campaign. Hugh is a hard-working candidate, running for State Rep in the 194th District on the Green Party ticket. He vows to be the people’s voice for the entire state when he is elected this November!
While we do not have the huge political machine that the 2 major parties depend upon, we look to you to make this election a reality for change in Harrisburg. So far, small contributions from lots of progressive people have added up and helped produce some awesome literature. But, we need more – especially as we approach Election Day on November 2.
Here’s how you can help.
Come to our fundraiser for the Friends of Hugh Giordano campaign.
When: Sunday, September 19th.
Where: Hattal-Taylor VFW Post at 376 Lyceum Ave. at Pechin St. in Roxborough.
Time: 4pm til 8pm.
Donation: $10/adult. Kids eat free. Alcoholic beverages- small extra charge.
Dine in or take out – if you cannot join in, we will wrap up your dinner to go.
Included is an auction, door prizes, live DJ, and an opportunity to mingle with your neighbors, friends and of course, Hugh.

Giordano Calls Press Conference for Wed.
Hugh Giordano has called a press conference for Wednesday, April 28, 6:45 PM at Roxborough Memorial Hospital, 5800 Ridge Avenue.
He will speak about his campaign and discuss why he will not be participating in a candidate debate being held the same evening, also at the hospital.
Giordano to Speak at Earth Day Rally
Hugh Giordano will be one of the featured speakers at a rally this Thursday, April 22, at the Regional Department of Environmental Protection offices in Norristown.
The rally is to call attention to the state’s horrible record on allowing natural gas drilling in the Marcellus Shale.
Candidate Forum at Journey’s Way
There will be a forum for all candidates in the 194th District on Friday, April 16, at 1 PM at Journey’s Way, 403 Rector St.
Please come out to support Hugh! We had quite a group of supporters at last Wednesday’s forum sponsored by the Roxborough Development Corporation. Let’s do it again!
