Hugh Giordano: Forum Silenced the People’s Voice

Hugh Giordano: Forum Silenced the People’s Voice
By Carol McLean, mcleansammi@yahoo.com or (215)843-4256

On Wednesday, April 28, three civic associations in Roxborough and East Falls sponsored a candidates’ forum at Aria Hospital. This was booked as an opportunity for voters to hear the candidates’ views and ask questions from the floor. Unfortunately, only Democratic Party candidates were invited to speak; the Green Party and Republican Party were silenced. A press conference was called by the Hugh Giordano Campaign, http://www.hughgiordano.com, prior to the forum. For more information on the Hugh Giordano Campaign, please telephone 215-243-7103 or email friendsofhugh@gmail.com.
